Should i major in business or psychology
I just need some people to paint me a clearer picture of the world because I'm prettty lost. I was thinking of majoring in psych and if its not something I like the get my MBA. I am willing to go to more schooling if necessary. I can't see myself working up a coorperate ladder in a cubbicle but maybe thats just my distorted perception of the business world. Its hard to make a decision like this so young. I feel like I have a talent that I don't know of and if I stick with psychology then it will lead me to good places, but I am also afraid that I am just being niave. My advisor said I can major in what I like now because it doens't even really reflect what you do later, then she showed me all these people that aren't doing what they majored in. Some people also say do what you love and the money will follow - which sounds nice but sounds a little to fourtune cookie and not too much reality. My advisor was telling me that diversity in the Business world is important and I feel like there are four million average joe Business majors here.
My parents are telling me to Major in Business because there are more job opportunities once I am done with college. I really enjoy psychology even though there are a lot of papers with that major ( i heard) and I am more of a math minded person.
I am a sophmore at and I need to declair my major soon.
